Your child absolutely loved James Cameron's movie Avatar, and now it's time to plan his or her perfect Avatar themed birthday party. Since you can't take all of the children and their parents to Pandora, there are a few ways to bring Pandora to the children.
First, you'll want to send out party invitations. If you can't find any Avatar themed ones at the local party store, make your own using clip-art. Let the children know on the invite that the "Na'vi Invite You to (Your child's) Birthday Bash!"
You'll also want to suggest that the children dress according to the theme. Some children can dress like military personnel, some can dress like scientists, or some children can even go blue and dress like the Na'vi.
When you're turning your party room into Pandora, think about making it look like a jungle, by using plastic plants, dark colored balloons, and have a CD in the background playing jungle sounds.
Before the party, grab an Avatar-inspired cake that has the main characters on it. You can get these made specially at any cake decoration store or bakery. Also, you may even want to invite a close friend or relative over, dressed as one of the main characters. The children will love to interact with their favorite Na'vi!
Once the cake has been cut, have everyone sit down for a special viewing of the film. As party favors, have actions figures of the most important characters to give out to the children.
